Block Crafters is more than an after-school activity. It is a place where curious kids can code, build, experiment and solve problems in a fun, welcoming environment. We create sessions that are engaging, hands-on and designed to help children grow their confidence while learning real skills.

What Kids Do at Block Crafters

At Block Crafters, kids do more than just sit at a screen. They code games, work with robots, test ideas, build projects and solve creative challenges. One session might focus on coding on computers, another on robotics, and another on hands-on engineering or prototyping.

How Block Crafters Began

Block Crafters was founded in Canberra in 2016 after Kira and Russel saw a need for more hands-on technology learning for children.

With backgrounds in technology and IT, they wanted to create a club where kids could move from simply using technology to understanding it, building with it and creating with confidence.

What started as an idea to help children engage with coding and robotics has grown into a club where kids can explore technology in a fun, practical and meaningful way.

Why We Do It

We believe kids should have the chance to be creators, not just consumers. Technology is a big part of the world they are growing up in, and we want children to feel confident exploring it. Block Crafters exists to help kids build real skills, think creatively, solve problems and discover what they are capable of.
